Ashley Harwood 3/8" Bedan

I am excited to announce my new line of turning tools! Here are the specs:

The bedan is the tool I use when creating a dovetailed recess on a solid piece of wood (usually a bowl blank) in order to use dovetail jaws in expansion mode. The top edge where you hold it is rounded for a comfortable grip. It is made in the USA, from M2 tool steel that has been hardened down the entire length of the tool to 62-64 Rockwell. Every tool I sell comes with the grinds that I use. I personally sharpen each tool before shipment.

This tool is sold un-handled, but does come with an attached bolster to use with the AH handle system. I recommend the 12 inch handle to use with it.
