This wheel is for customers who are not concerned about having a radius edge, it offers more flat area on both the surface and sides than any of our other wheels. The wheel edge is covered with CBN material and is a full 1.5 inches wide and 8-inches in diameter. The side faces are a full 1-inch of CBN material! Because we use 6061 Aluminum this beast of a wheel only weighs in at 4 lbs, 10 oz. The stone wheels that come with most grinders weigh 3 lbs, 7 oz – so this wheel, while being massive, only weighs about one pound more.
